Product

Inspired by He Shuangqing, the first great female ci poet of the Qing dynasty — her story was retold endlessly by literati, yet her real circumstances stayed hidden. In this immersive puzzle game, players piece together clues through close reading and discover the cracks between “what is told” and “what is true.” A TRAE competition entry, fully designed from game mechanics to visual style.

Engineering

React 19 + TypeScript + Vite + Tailwind + Framer Motion frontend, packaged cross-platform with Tauri. Core mechanics: a vermilion-endorsement trust system drives narrative branches; scenes are the narrative (study + village, two spaces); close-reading puzzles cut from word-level tension into historical truth.
